Job Title: Production Associate – Packer (2nd Shift) Job Description Join our dynamic food manufacturing team as a Production Associate on the 2nd shift. This role is crucial in supporting food manufacturing operations through packaging, palletizing, labeling, and preparing finished tamale products for shipment. You will thrive in a fast-paced production environment while adhering to food safety, quality, and GMP standards. Responsibilities Pack tamales into trays, containers, boxes, or other designated packaging. Accurately label finished products according to production requirements. Palletize packaged products for storage and shipment. Stack, wrap, and secure pallets to ensure safe transport. Inspect packaging for quality, accuracy, and product integrity. Move finished goods and packaging materials throughout the facility. Supply packaging lines with boxes, labels, and other materials as needed. Store finished products according to food safety and company standards. Essential Skills Ability to stand for extended periods. Perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment with temperatures around 50°F. Follow all PPE, GMP, HACCP, SSOP, and food safety guidelines. Experience working closely with food. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to lift 25 lbs continuously, 40 lbs frequently, and exert up to 50 lbs occasionally. Stand for long periods. Read and interpret safety and procedure documents in English; Spanish is a plus. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.25 – $20.25/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
