Key Responsibilities:
• Clinical Care: Conduct intake health evaluations, chronic care clinics, and urgent assessments.
• Treatment & Prescriptions: Validate and dispense prescriptions, order diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Policy & Compliance: Establish and enforce medical protocols to ensure jail health operations align with legal and regulatory standards.
• Staff Oversight: Provide clinical guidance and supervision to Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and nursing staff.
• Administration: Collaborate with leadership and act as the liaison on medical issues and risk mitigation.
Required documents:
• Active Physician license for the state of SC
