Obstetric & gynecologic surgery (Cesarean section, D&C, Hysterectomy)

Liver surgery

GI endoscopy (Upper, Lower, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy)

Minor Orthopedics

Hand Surgery

Ventilation management

Chest tube insertion

Central line insertion

PA Catheter placement

Laser certification

Vascular Surgery (Aneurysm repairs (Thoracic, Abdominal), Arterial bypass (Peripheral), Vascular access devices (AV shunt

JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified

Licenses: Active KY License or Universal License (IMLC)

Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Duties & Responsibilities Perform emergency general surgery procedures including bowel resection, trauma surgery, and perforation repairs

Manage incision and drainage of abscesses and wound care

Provide on-call coverage for emergency surgical consultations and interventions

Utilize advanced surgical skills as needed (laparoscopic, vascular, plastic surgery)

Ensure timely and accurate documentation in the EMR system (MediTech)
