What You’ll Do Prepare and position patients for radiographic procedures while ensuring their comfort, safety, and privacy Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations and produce high-quality digital images Operate radiographic and C-arm equipment safely and effectively Review images for technical quality, anatomical accuracy, and proper patient identification Follow radiation safety standards and best practices to minimize exposure Maintain imaging rooms and equipment to support safety, compliance, and operational readiness Partner closely with physicians and clinical team members to provide an excellent patient experience Support additional imaging and clinical needs as part of a collaborative team What Will Help You Thrive Enjoy working directly with patients and providing compassionate care Take pride in producing accurate, high-quality images Work well in a collaborative, fast-moving clinical environment Bring strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety Are adaptable, dependable, and eager to continue learning Want to develop deeper expertise in orthopedic imaging Qualifications Current Virginia Radiologic Technologist license ARRT certification Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program 2+ years of Radiologic Technologist experience preferred Recent graduates are encouraged to apply Why Join OrthoVirginia? Compensation for this role will be based on several factors, including the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, geography/market, and internal equity considerations.
