Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse Lewistown, Montana Travel
Location: Lewistown, Montana
Schedule / Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 3 12-hour shifts | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Labor & Delivery setting throughout the night shift
- Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and other treatments as ordered by the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary staff to ensure safe patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Montana or a compact state
- Current BLS certification
- Prior clinical experience in Labor & Delivery
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a consistent schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Previous travel or contract nursing experience
