We provide comprehensive legal counsel to individuals, families, and business owners throughout Texas. Role Overview We are seeking a versatile and motivated Transactional Associate Attorney to join our team. This role is ideal for a practitioner looking to manage a diverse workload across corporate law, real property, asset preservation, and energy law. You will work closely with the managing attorney and litigation associate to gain direct client-facing experience, and manage files from inception to closing or administration. Key Responsibilities Real Estate: Draft and review commercial and residential purchase agreements, deeds, leases, and financing documents; coordinate with title companies for closings. Estate Planning & Probate: Counsel clients on asset preservation; draft wills, transfer on death deeds, trusts, and powers of attorney; manage probate administrations and estate filings. Business Formations: Structure and form corporate entities (LLCs, LPs, Corporations); draft operating agreements, bylaws, and corporate resolutions. Oil & Gas: Review mineral deeds, lease agreements, and surface use agreements; assist with basic title or ownership issues. Client Management: Conduct initial consultations, maintain regular client communication, and manage transaction timelines independently. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) Active license in good standing with the State Bar of Texas 1 to 4 years of experience handling Texas transactional matters (real estate and probate preferred) Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills Ability to balance multiple distinct practice areas and deadlines Excellent communication skills for client counseling Compensation & Benefits Salary: $85,000 to $100,000 (commensurate with experience) Benefits upon full-time: 401(k) Concierge PCP, dental, and vision insurance Paid Time Off (PTO), paid holidays, office retreats Annual CLE allowance and Texas State Bar dues coverage #J-18808-Ljbffr Jackie Lynn Ward, Attorney at Law, PLLC
