PREP COOK (FULL TIME)

PREP COOK – Fresh & Ready Foods We are hiring immediately for a full‑time Prep Cook position. The role will be based at Fresh & Ready FG NC, 10015 John Price Road, Charlotte, NC. Applications are accepted online only. Location: Fresh & Ready FG NC, 10015 John Price Road, Charlotte, NC. Schedule: Full‑time, Monday through Saturday with Sunday off and one weekday off, 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (details to be discussed during interview). Pay rate: $15.50 per hour. Referral bonus: Internal referral bonus available. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef. Prepare items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes. Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets; taste completed meals to ensure quality. Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use. Store, label and date all food items according to policy; follow HACCP guidelines. Complete all required documentation, reports and logs as required. Comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures. Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation time. Serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner. Complete orders from steam tables, grill and serve customers at multiple stations. Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control. Resolve customer concerns. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous kitchen experience required. Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of this position satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
