Position Summary What you’ll do: Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, actively listening to associates, and providing feedback. Model exceptional customer service by following the One Best Way service model. Manage and support customer service initiatives, including community outreach programs, and ensure customer complaints are resolved. Develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies and provide process‑improvement leadership for a high‑quality customer experience. Drive financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating profit/loss statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes to meet shrink and profit goals. Supervise and develop hourly associates: hire, train, mentor, assign duties, set expectations, provide recognition, and foster a culture of belonging. Coordinate job‑related activities, oversee assignments, and build relationships with stakeholders to support customer and business needs. Ensure compliance with company policies, uphold Walmart’s mission and values, and implement action plans supporting ethics and integrity. Create a workplace that embraces diverse perspectives and builds high‑performing teams. Attract, retain, and develop talent while recognizing contributions and accomplishments. Act with integrity, promote regenerative practices, eliminate waste, and participate in local giving. Minimum Qualifications 2 years of college, or 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience, or 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearms‑selling facilities: successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training. For ammunition‑selling facilities with state requirements: current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility. Completion of all required job‑training and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
