Residential Driver

The Residential Driver will be responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously providing waste removal services to customers. The driver will collect solid waste or recyclables on curbside and/or backdoor routes and transporting to post-collection facilities. Key responsibilities include operating a residential/recycling collection truck, loading waste into the vehicle, compacting trash, and maintaining route quality standards. The driver must follow all safety standards and equipment checks, maintain a clean vehicle, and report any accidents or incidents immediately. The driver should exhibit a professional demeanor and maintain accurate records of services performed. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a commercial driver's license, and at least one year of commercial driving experience or a CDL school certificate. The driver must be able to meet relevant criteria for safety-sensitive functions and demonstrate the ability to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment. The driver should have the ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50 pounds repetitively using proper lifting techniques and be able to follow all company safety policies and procedures.
