Job Title: Project Estimator - Civil Construction Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite Job Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Estimator to join our growing civil construction team in Huffman, TX. This is an onsite role ideal for a candidate looking to build a long-term career in estimating and project support within the civil construction industry. The Junior Project Estimator will assist in preparing cost estimates, reviewing project plans and specifications, coordinating with subcontractors and vendors, and supporting senior estimators throughout the bidding process. Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects Review blueprints, drawings, and project specifications Perform quantity take-offs and material calculations Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers for pricing Support bid preparation and proposal submissions Maintain organized project documentation and estimate records Work closely with project managers and field teams to ensure estimate accuracy Help track project costs and budgeting during project execution Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred 1-3 years of estimating or construction experience preferred Understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and terminology Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong mathematical and analytical skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with estimating software is a plus Excellent communication and organizational skills Must be locally sourced and able to work onsite in Huffman, TX Preferred Skills Quantity take-offs Cost estimation Bid preparation Civil/site construction knowledge Vendor and subcontractor coordination Attention to detail and time management #J-18808-Ljbffr W3Global
