Job Title: Manufacturing Test Technician Location: Rock Hill, SC Type: Contract To Hire Work Model: Onsite – onsite Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm

Requirements

• Experience in mechanical testing of rotating machinery (e.g., blowers, compressors, dryers).
• Proficient in using laser shaft alignment tools.
• Ability to measure vibration, pressure, and temperature using appropriate instruments.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical connections for industrial equipment.
• Proficient with Windows-based computers and software for generating test reports.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clear technical documentation.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with soft starters, water-cooling towers, or similar auxiliary equipment.
• Familiarity with industrial safety protocols and quality standards.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or test lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision shaft alignment using laser shaft alignment tools (core responsibility).
• Conduct mechanical tests on centrifugal blowers, compressors, and dryers following established procedures.
• Record and analyze vibration, pressure, and temperature data during testing.
• Set up electrical and mechanical input/output connections, including auxiliary equipment such as soft starters and water cooling towers.
• Generate accurate and detailed test reports using Windows-based software.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Communicate test findings, anomalies, and improvement recommendations to the engineering team.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures during test operations.
