Senior Java Oracle Data Engineer

Salary: $124,800 - 135,894.4 per year Requirements:

• We require a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical discipline.
• We look for 5+ years of software and data engineering experience with Java and Oracle.
• We require prior experience in the Banking or Financial Services sector.
• We need strong expertise in relational database design, query performance tuning, and scalable application development.
• Preferred: hands-on experience with Spring Boot for backend microservices.
• Preferred: direct exposure to digital banking applications or financial settlement processing.
• Preferred: excellent technical communication and cross-team collaboration skills.

• We design, develop, and support high-volume data solutions and ETL workflows across relational databases and microservices.
• We work with engineering teams to connect complex banking data sources and improve our core architecture.
• We strengthen operational reliability, data integrity, and high availability across mission-critical systems.
• We provide technical leadership, architectural direction, and issue resolution across delivery pods.

We are an enterprise Financial Services technology team building next-generation digital banking and settlement platforms. This is a telecommute contract role with work hours from 8am to 5pm. The position is based on a full-time schedule, and our compensation is listed at $60.00 to $65.33 per hour.
