Dental Assistant - Starting Pay at $25/hour Plus Full Benefits Join to apply for the Dental Assistant - Starting Pay at $25/hour Plus Full Benefits role at AltaMed Health Services Job Overview The Dental Assistant position is responsible for assisting the dentist(s) and the dental hygienist(s) in providing primary care dental services to patients at the clinic or in the mobile oral health unit, as well as for sterilization, preparation, inventory control of dental instruments and supplies, and maintaining proper infection control in all patient care areas. Minimum Requirements High School diploma or GED certificate required. Successful completion of a board-approved course in the Dental Practice Act. X-Ray certification and infection control training required. Valid BLS certification or higher, following AHA or Red Cross guidelines. Completion of an accredited course in dental assisting is preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
