Construction Quality Assurance Representatives - all levels Honolulu, HI Description MacDonald-Bedford LLC is seeking qualified and experienced Junior to Senior level Construction Quality Assurance Representatives to support a range of Federal, institutional, and infrastructure projects in the Pacific . This role focuses on providing on-site inspections, reports and follow up supporting the design, construction, renovation, and modernization of facilities, including large construction (MILCON or facility development projects) and repair, renovation, and sustainment (SRM or infrastructure improvements) . Requirements Key Responsibilities Experience in preparing and finalizing pre-award, quality assurance and contract administration processes for Government Construction Contracts; Maintain the Resident Management System (RMS) database for all assigned projects, manage assigned contracts, and update the RMS database. Responsible for data entry of all related documents including correspondence, Requests for Information (RFI), submittal of Contractor’s Quality Control (CQC) Plans, Safety Plans, Activity Hazard Analysis, construction schedules, technical submittals, and insurances. Input/log data on Contractor’s quality control report and deficiency tracking. Also be responsible to download the construction contractor’s database in Quality Control System (QCS) to RMS and evaluate that the data provided is accurate and complete. Prepare technical reports , drawings , and specifications in support of design submissions and permitting packages . Provide construction administration services , including submittal reviews , RFI responses , on-site inspections , and assist system commissioning . Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams , including architects, engineers, contractors, and client stakeholders , on new construction renovation, and renovation, renovat retrofit projects . Support Support code consulting services and AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) coordination . Senior Level - A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in general construction methods including one (1) year experience in quality assurance or quality control inspection and two (2) years of working knowledge of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers policies, procedures, processes, and regulations; Or a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in general construction methods; Mid-Level - A minimum of five (5) years of experience in general construction methods including one (1) year experience in quality assurance or quality control inspection and one (1) year of working knowledge of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers policies, procedures, processes, and regulations; Or a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in general construction methods. Junior - A minimum of three (3) years of experience in general construction methods including one (1) year experience in quality assurance or quality control inspection and one (1) year of working knowledge of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers policies, procedures, processes, and regulations; Or a minimum of five (5) years of experience in general construction methods. High School diploma or equivalent supplemented with at least twenty (20) credit or semester hours of technical training; Citizenship of the United States Must be able to travel. Capable of performing off-island travel within the Pacific Region for extended periods. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively within multidisciplinary teams . Ability to work on complex project types independently and in a collaborative environment . Preferred Qualifications Construction or engineering related education Experience supporting federal agencies (e.g., USACE, GSA, VA ) or healthcare/military projects .
