Job Profile As a Product Owner III – Test Data Management within PNC’s Technology – Solution Delivery Enablement (SDE) organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX, Birmingham, AL, Denver, CO, or Phoenix, AZ. The Test Data Management (TDM) Product Owner defines and drives the enterprise TDM product, determining the capabilities needed, why they matter, and how they deliver value to the bank while ensuring data is used safely, compliantly, and efficiently. Responsibilities Own the TDM (Test Data Management) product vision, roadmap, and prioritization strategy Serve as the primary point of alignment across business, technology, Quality Engineering (QE), and risk partners Ensure that test data solutions comply with regulatory, privacy, and audit requirements Translate enterprise needs into clearly defined product requirements, standards, and deliverables Balance delivery priorities with risk management considerations and long‑term strategic objectives Collaborate closely with other Product Owners supporting QE tools, QE Leads, and Data Architects Manage and maintain the TDM product backlog, prioritizing high‑value initiatives while balancing new development with ongoing maintenance Lead planning sessions with assigned crews, providing ongoing oversight through stand‑ups, reviews, and demonstrations Operate within a highly technical stakeholder environment, focusing on test data capabilities rather than customer‑facing functionality; stakeholders are primarily technical teams and delivery crews Own the vision and definition of the product, serving as the voice of the customer and ensuring Scrum teams focus on the right priorities based on business value Define and convey the vision to teams to address client requirements and achieve business objectives Be accountable for the creation and integrity of the product backlog, prioritizing and grooming it Work closely with Scrum Masters and development teams to focus on the right items during development, acting as the primary point of contact for team questions and empowered decision‑making Employee Expectations Customer Focused – Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions. Managing Risk – Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework. Qualifications Proven experience serving as a Product Owner or Product Manager with accountability for product vision, roadmap development, and backlog ownership within an enterprise environment Experience within Agile delivery frameworks and practices Solid understanding of Test Data Management (TDM) concepts, including data masking, subsetting, synthetic data, and test data lifecycle management Ability to effectively manage and set expectations with technical stakeholders, demonstrating strong stakeholder management skills Experience working with database systems and data environments Demonstrated ability to balance and prioritize competing initiatives and stakeholder demands Experience developing forward‑looking roadmaps spanning multiple quarters, translating near‑term priorities into actionable quarterly plans Preferred Skills Accountability, Customer Solutions, Data Visualization, Prioritization, Scrum, User Experience (UX) Design Competencies Agile Development, Business Acumen, Design Thinking, Effective Communications, Innovation, Interpersonal Relationships, IT Standards, Procedures & Policies, Managing Multiple Priorities, Organizational Leadership, Planning & Organizing, Solutions Development Work Experience Roles at this level typically require a university/college degree, with 5+ years of industry‑relevant experience. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with payment based upon company, business, and/or individual performance.
