From assisting the Instructor to preparing the recipes and keeping the kitchen clean and organized, you will have a passion for making our guests smile and keeping everything running smoothly in our sparkling clean Kitchens. Responsibilities: Open availability is required, including nights and weekends. Taste Buds Kitchen hosts events 7 - days a week. Assist the Instructor in creating amazing cooking classes, camps, and parties for ages 2- 99 Create a friendly, energetic, and consistent experience for our guests Setup before class including preparing ingredients, activities, and prebake as needed for a class Assist the Instructor with engaging and teaching guests about various cooking/baking skills related to the class menu Keep the kitchen running smoothly, sparkling clean, stocked, and organized before, during, and after the class Create a controlled safe, clean, friendly environment for all clients Qualifications: Ability to follow directions in a fast-paced environment and move quickly Natural curiosity and passion for food & culinary entertainment Upbeat personality with a smile on your face a majority of the time. Eagerness to get your hands dirty Great communication skills with all ages Confident with a range of cooking and baking techniques At least one or more years of experience entertaining kids and/or adults Relevant cooking/restaurant experience a plus Formal teaching experience and training in education, childhood development, or related field a plus Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift 45 pounds Must pass a background check Must enjoy the atmosphere of a small business #J-18808-Ljbffr Taste Buds Kitchen - Palo Alto
