SUPERVISIONRECEIVED ReportstotheDirectorofRehabordesignee. SUPERVISIONEXERCISED Asdelegated EDUCATION HighSchoolgraduateorequivalent. CNA certification in VA is required* EXPERIENCE Previousexperienceinpatient/residentcareinanursingcenter,hospital,or rehabilitationcenterpreferred.Therapystudentswillbeconsidered. WORKINGCONDITIONS Worksinwell-lighted/ventilated officeandtherapy areas. Sitting,standing,bending,liftingandmovingintermittentlyduringworkinghours. Subjecttofrequentinterruptions. Involvedwithpatients/residents,familymembers,personnel,etc.,underallconditions/circumstances. Subjecttohostileandemotionallyupsetpatients/residents,familymembers,etc. Communicates with the medical staff, nursing personnel, andother departmentsupervisors. Willingness to workbeyond normal working hours, and in otherpositions temporarily, whennecessary. Mustbeconstantlyalertforpatient’s/resident’ssafety. Subject to falls, burns from equipment, infectious diseases, odors, etc., throughout theworkday. Subjecttolifting,carryingandsupportingpatients/residents. AbletotravelbetweenfacilitiesasindicatedbySupervisor. Mobilephoneuseisonlypermittedduringbreakandnonpaidallocatedlunchtimes.Phonesshouldbekeptonvibrateatalltimes. SPECIFICREQUIREMENTS Completionofon-the-joborientationandtrainingprogram. PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS Must be able to move (walk, stoop, bend, stand, sit push, pull and lift) intermittently throughoutthe workday. Must be able tospeak theEnglishlanguageinanunderstandablemanner. Must be able to cope with the mental and emotionalstressoftheposition. Must possesssight/hearingsensesoruseprostheticsthatwillenablethesesensestofunctionadequately,sothattherequirementsofthispositioncanbefullymet. Must functionindependently,haveflexibility,personalintegrity,andtheabilitytoworkeffectivelywithpatients,clients,andteammembers. Mustbeingoodgeneral healthanddemonstrateemotionalstability. Mustbeabletocopewiththementalandemotionalstressoftheposition. Mustpossesssight/hearingsensesoruseprostheticsthatwillenablethesesensestofunctionadequately,sothattherequirementsofthispositioncanbefullymet. Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with patients, clients, and teammates. Must being good general health and demonstrate emotional stability. Must be able to lift patients/residents, medical equipment, supplies, etc. to 50lbs #J-18808-Ljbffr
