She Recruits is seeking an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist to support critical care pharmacy services within a fast-paced acute care environment. This role assists with developing, implementing, and maintaining clinical pharmacy programs that meet the needs of a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate has strong clinical reasoning skills, a commitment to evidence-based medicine, and the ability to function independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Role Overview:

The Advanced Clinical Pharmacist will contribute to the design and delivery of clinical pharmacy programs, support medication therapy management across critical care units, and provide expert guidance on pharmacotherapy. This role involves evaluating patient-specific drug regimens, offering clinical consults, monitoring for therapy optimization, and ensuring compliance with best practices. The pharmacist will also participate in ongoing quality initiatives and contribute to policy and protocol development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical pharmacy programs in critical care
• Provide medication expertise and pharmacotherapy guidance to physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
• Evaluate patient-specific drug therapy for safety, efficacy, and appropriateness
• Utilize evidence-based clinical resources to stay current on medication guidelines, therapies, and safety updates
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocol development
• Assist with medication policy creation, order set review, and formulary management as needed
• Serve as a clinical resource and assist with pharmacy operations as required
• Exercise strong critical thinking skills, independent judgment, and timely decision-making in a busy, high-acuity environment

Qualifications:

• BS or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
• Current Florida Pharmacist License required
• Open to new graduates only if they already hold an active FL license
• Hospital experience or completion of a residency preferred but not required
• Must be familiar with key clinical pharmacy resources used to maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge
• Strong critical thinking abilities and comfort working with autonomy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
