**Your future role at a glance** + **Location** : Evansville, IN + **Facility** : Ascension St. Vincent + **Department/Specialty** : Emergency Department + **Schedule** : Evening Shift l Full-time \#NextGenHealthcare **How you'll make an impact in this role** + Lead the immediate assessment and stabilization of patients in high-acuity situations, ensuring rapid and life-saving interventions are prioritized. + Coordinate with the full multidisciplinary trauma and emergency team to ensure a seamless, high-speed care journey for every patient entering the department. + Execute physician and nursing orders with precision and urgency, translating clinical directives into immediate relief and stabilization for the patient. + Monitor and document critical changes in patient status, providing the medical team with the real-time data necessary for fast, life-altering decision-making. + Support patients and their families through the transition out of the ED—whether to admission or home—by providing clear, compassionate discharge education during stressful moments. **What minimum requirements you'll need** **Licensure / Certification / Registration:** + BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. + Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. + One or more of the following required: + Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. + Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
