Whether handling a crucial CT scan or providing comfort to those in need, your contributions will be deeply valued in this community-focused healthcare environment. Your Core Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced radiographic and CT techniques to deliver high-resolution diagnostic images for physicians
- Engage with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to achieve accurate diagnostic outcomes
- Position patients expertly and calibrate sophisticated imaging equipment
- Uphold strict radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
- Manage comprehensive records, including imaging logs and equipment upkeep
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care throughout each imaging procedure
- Contribute to a well-organized, efficient, and safe imaging environment
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
- Completion of an accredited radiology program is necessary
- ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography) is essential
- Current BLS certification or the capability to acquire it within 90 days of employment
- Thorough understanding of diagnostic imaging methodologies and safety regulations
- Exceptional communication abilities for effective interactions with patients and colleagues
- Adeptness in high-pressure environments and flexibility to adapt as priorities shift
- Keen attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability
- Technological proficiency with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging software
