Manufacturing Technician Nights

Manufacturing Technician on Nights Georgia Pacific is hiring a Manufacturing Technician on nights in the Logistics, Printing, Packaging and Plate Forming Press departments for our Dixie team in Bowling Green, KY. Night shift is 6:30pm-7:00am. Pay rate is $23.11 per hour + $2.00 per hour shift differential for the NIGHT SHIFT ONLY. What You Will Do Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets Monitor and/or enter data into computer control systems Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production Perform basic asset care duties to include routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals Operate and/or work around mobile equipment Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve hours a day in a loud/noisy, industrial, high‑volume environment Occasionally lift boxes that weigh 60‑80 lbs to shoulder height Work with changeovers and set up equipment Basic Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, or military environment OR completion of post‑high‑school education in a manufacturing/industrial centered program A minimum of six months of experience operating and maintaining machines High school diploma or GED What Will Put You Ahead Experience using SAP Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, or electrical skills in an industrial environment Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device Benefits We provide essential resources and support to build and maintain physical, financial, and emotional strength, including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending and health savings accounts, life insurance, disability, retirement, paid vacation/time off, educational assistance, and may also include infertility assistance, paid parental leave and adoption assistance.
