Join Our Family-Owned Private Optometry Practice

We are a family-owned, private ophthalmology practice proudly serving the Greensburg and Ligonier communities. Our team is committed to providing exceptional, personalized eye care in a warm and professional environment.

We are currently seeking a  Part-Time Ophthalmic Technician to support both of our office locations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is compassionate, dependable, and eager to grow in the medical field.

Experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Position Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for examination
• Obtain medical and ocular histories
• Perform preliminary testing, including:
• Visual acuity
• Auto-refraction
• Tonometry
• Additional diagnostic testing as needed
• Assist physicians during patient exams
• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records
• Administer eye drops as directed
• Maintain clean and organized exam rooms
• Deliver excellent patient care and communication
• Assist with other clinical or administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

Preferred:

• Previous ophthalmic, optometric, or medical office experience
• Familiarity with electronic medical records
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliability and flexibility to work between both office locations
• Willingness to learn and be trained
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Schedule

Part-time hours with flexibility required between our  Greensburg and Ligonier office locations.

[3-4 days per week, occasional Saturdays]
