Job Summary and Qualifications Operate x‑ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body. Perform x‑ray therapy under the supervision of a radiologist, explaining procedures to patients and addressing concerns. Serve patients in the emergency department, hospital, and outpatient settings. Perform procedures in accordance with established protocols for patients ages neonate through geriatric. Maintain expert technical and patient‑care skills and provide quality diagnostic results. Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program with current certification by ARRT. Maintain current registry by attending continuing education activities. BLS (Basic Life Support) through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to perform work requiring frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs. Prefer 2 years recent acute care experience. Minimum 30 days to obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support certification. ARRT‑R Radiography certification. Vocational School Graduate. We are an equal opportunity employer.
