Production Associate

Job Title: Production and Warehouse Associates (Kitting, Packing, Assembly, Shipping)

Job Description

This role offers multiple long-term opportunities within a small manufacturing facility that produces components for commercial vehicle HVAC systems. You will work in hands-on production and warehouse positions such as kitter/packer, prep work assembler, rooftop assembler, shipper/receiver, and small parts shipper/puller. You will assemble products using written and visual instructions, prepare parts and finished goods for shipment, and support daily shipping and receiving operations in a fast-paced, family-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform hand assembly of components used to build commercial vehicle HVAC products, following written and visual instructions accurately and efficiently.
• Complete prep work assembly tasks, including organizing parts, staging materials, and preparing components for final assembly.
• Work as a kitter/packer by packing small parts into boxes and preparing them to be shipped out to customers.
• Pack larger scale parts into boxes and prepare them for shipment, handling lifting of up to approximately 25–35 pounds as needed.
• Operate as an assembler who can consistently work five 8-hour days per week, maintaining productivity and quality standards.
• Handle repetitious lifting of approximately 30–35 pounds when working in kitting and packing roles, ensuring safe material handling practices.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties that are highly computer dependent, including data entry, order processing, and labeling using Microsoft D365 or similar systems.
• Assist with pulling small parts for orders and support the shipper/receiver by preparing items for shipment and staging materials.
• Apply labels, verify order accuracy, and ensure products and parts are correctly identified and documented before shipment.
• Use hand tools to assemble products and components according to blueprints or work instructions, maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Follow production schedules and shift assignments, including Monday through Friday schedules and 1st shift options such as 7:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. or 6:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. with additional hours on Friday.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety procedures and reporting any issues or concerns to supervision as needed.
• Collaborate with team members in both the main facility and the rooftop assembly location to meet production and shipping deadlines.
• Adapt to different roles as needed, including kitting, packing, assembly, shipping, and pulling parts, to support overall production and warehouse operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallastown, PA.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Dallastown,PA.
