Communications Specialist

As an Communications Specialist, you will develop communication strategies that inform the FOD workforce and specialize in crafting communication plans and products. GS-13: You qualify at the GS-13 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the majority of the following duties: Applying federal plain language requirements into organization-wide communications and deliverables. Communicating intelligently and informatively to highlight business issues, management priorities and overall organizational initiatives. Applying evaluative and analytical skills to draft and review survey or focus group information. Assessing the needs and effectiveness of communication efforts to collect information from stakeholders to inform and determine communication needs. Editing written deliverables and ensuring that final drafts and releases speak with the voice and key messaging to the workforce and leadership. #J-18808-Ljbffr
