Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Hospitalist in Burlington, NC

Doctor of Medicine | Hospitalist Location: Burlington, NC Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Nights - 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Hospitalist Physician Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician to join our team on a nocturnist schedule. The ideal candidate will work 7p-7a, 7 on/7 off, supporting hospitalist services with a patient rounding census of 15-18 and an average of 8 admissions per shift. This role requires strong clinical skills within the scope of hospital medicine, with experience preferred but not mandatory. Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is required, along with current BC or BE status. Candidates must have an active NCMB license, DEA license, and certifications including BLS and ACLS. The EMR system used is EPIC, with preferred experience. Vaccination compliance is mandatory. Support staff: Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (ARNP) and other support staff nightly.
