We have one full time group home position available.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

FT Day& Swing: Sat: 9am- 7pm, Sun: 2pm - 10pm, Mon: 2pm- 12pm, Tues: 2pm- 10pm

(N Portland, near PCC cascade campus)

Occasional Overtime offered

We run a group home with five residents in N. Portland near PCC Cascade Campus. We are looking for a new direct care staff to join our team. The residents in our group home are getting older so prior experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, seniors or persons with dementia is preferred. This direct care staff must have the ability to understand and follow tasks as directed, time-management, excellent listening skills, strong professional boundaries and having a valid driver's license is preferred.

Excellent attendance is mandatory! Our clients rely on our staff to be on time, consistent and work the entirety of their shift. The residents of our group home deserve staff who are reliable, positive and able to provide quality care.

Our Direct Care staff work with clients in a group home setting, helping to provide care and assistance with client identified goals; housekeeping and cooking; companionship and community inclusion; med administration and hygiene assistance; errands, attending appointments, and more!

Experience working with Thearp would be helpful but we will train.

Of course, there are a few things you do need to have before we can hire you like a High School Diploma or GED, you must be 18 years or older, you must be able to pass a criminal background check per State of Oregon standards and you must pass a pre-employment drug screen (for illegal drugs in the State of Oregon).
