Facilities Maintenance Technician

Overview TheFacilitiesMaintenance Technicianwill serve as a keyteam memberwho willreport to theFacilities Managerandwillbe responsible forwidevariety of general repairs and services. Responsibilities Electrical (Ballasts, bulbs, parking lot lights, troubleshooting outlets, and identifyingand resetting tripped breaker.) Plumbing (General plumbing including repairing leaking faucets, replacing washer’s faucets and seals on malfunctioning pluming equipment snaking /cleaning clogged drains) Painting (Brush and roller applications, plaster, drywall repair, Interior and exterior jobs) Doors (Metal/wood, closers, hinges, sweeps ext.) Furniture (Repair, drawers, adjustment, assembly) Moving items as needed (i.e., furniture, file cabinets, boxes,etc.,) Delivery of office and building supplies to the correct departments and locations Small appliance and equipment installation Assist Facilities Manager and others on special projects as directed by Manager. Responsible for thetimelycompletion of all assigned facility work order requests. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. All other duties asassigned. Qualifications High school diploma.Some technical / college education or minimum5years of work experience infacilitymaintenance field Computer skillsincludingMicrosoft Suites and facility management software.
