Qualifications:

• Current 310 School Social Worker certification required
• Experience working with middle school age students preferred
• Strong communication and counseling skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrated understanding of child and adolescent development
• Knowledge of relevant state and federal school regulations

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling for students to support their social, emotional, and behavioral growth
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans for students in need
• Support students facing challenges related to academics, behavior, attendance, or family circumstances
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement strategies for student success
• Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to reports, and help develop and monitor interventions
• Advocate for students’ needs and connect families to community resources as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to confidentiality policies
