Hotel Bartender

You will be in charge of taking drink orders, recommending beer and wine, preparing traditional and unique mixed drinks, and maintaining the bar area so it is clean and sanitary at all times. Responsibilities: • Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties • Verify customers' identification age to ensure they are of legal age and provide alcoholic drinks in compliance with federal, state, municipal, and corporate rules and regulations • Order necessary bar supplies, stock and keep track of all wine, liquor, and beer inventories as well as maintain a full supply of glassware and notify management of any shortages • Mix and deliver drinks to customers including alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties of wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks • Receive payments and settle patron checks and tabs, as well as correctly record daily sales totals in point of sale system Qualifications: • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification • Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the patron first and providing exceptional customer service • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers • We prefer some experience working in the food service industry Compensation: $9 per hour plus tips
