Job Responsibilities
- Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and design individualized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional aspirations.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-backed methods to improve patients' motor capabilities, cognitive function, and activities of daily living.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work together with other OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
- Guide Patients and Their Families: Teach patients and caregivers about therapy strategies to facilitate continued progress at home.
- Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical results and adapt treatment plans as needed, ensuring patients remain focused on their goals.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Ongoing education or advanced certifications are encouraged and supported.
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
- A dedication to helping others achieve their maximum level of independence
