As a Security Officer Credentialing Driver in Brookhaven, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a smooth flow of people and vehicles. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will remain visible, help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting access control activities at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Document visitor, vehicle, and/or truck traffic, maintain accurate logs, and communicate access issues, policy concerns, and/or unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response activities and post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, gate areas, yard, docks, and perimeter to identify security-related concerns and report conditions that may need attention.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
