High acuity step‑down unit to SICU. We take care of transplant patients, liver disease, renal disease, general abdominal surgeries, oncology surgery and urological overflow. This is a fast‑paced, moderate acuity floor that requires the ability to think on your feet and build relationships with your patients. We’re Looking For Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association What You’ll Do Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and strong communication skills while leading efforts to create a safe patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
