A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Full-Time, On-Site, Shipping & Receiving Clerk in Princeton, NJ!

A-Line Staffing is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support manufacturing and warehouse operations in Princeton, NJ .

This position is responsible for supporting daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and production activities through accurate SAP and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) transactions, documentation management, and coordination with shop floor and cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on SAP experience, strong computer and organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and strong attention to numerical accuracy. Shipping & Receiving Clerk Compensation

• The pay for this position is $20.00/hr
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Shipping & Receiving Clerk Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential for permanent hire based on attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Shipping & Receiving Clerk Responsibilities

· Execute daily transactions in SAP and MES , ensuring accurate entry, tracking, and reconciliation of inventory and production data.

· Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation, including processing, filing, and retrieving records required for production, audits, and quality functions .

· Coordinate with shop floor teams, Manufacturing Production Planners (MPPs), Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Planning to support receiving, material movement, and workflow continuity.

· Monitor incoming communications, including email, delivery schedules, and operational updates , and provide timely follow-up based on production priorities.

· Perform routine numerical reviews, including verifying counts, identifying discrepancies, reconciling information, and validating transactional accuracy .

· Support shipping, receiving, inventory, and production activities while maintaining accurate system records.

· Assist with administrative responsibilities, schedule updates, documentation, and other operational needs.

· Move between office and shop floor environments as needed to support daily operations.

· Communicate effectively with internal teams to help ensure materials and information move efficiently throughout the facility.

· Perform additional duties, including overtime or weekend coverage, as business needs require.

Shipping & Receiving Clerk Requirements

· High School Diploma or equivalent required

· Hands-on SAP experience required

· Experience performing transactions accurately within SAP

· Working knowledge of inventory transactions, shipping/receiving, warehouse, manufacturing, or shop floor operations

· Strong computer skills and ability to learn and navigate electronic systems

· Strong numerical aptitude with the ability to repeatedly review, compare, and validate data accurately

· Excellent organizational and documentation skills

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to manage documents, schedules, calendars, and email communications

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Comfortable working between an office and manufacturing/shop floor environment
