Systems Engineer

Salary: $140,000 - 160,000 per year Requirements:

• We require 10+ years of Linux system administration experience.
• We look for a solid grasp of Linux internals, including system calls, file systems, and processes.
• We value experience across Linux operating systems, including networking, desktops, firewalls, and servers.
• We prefer candidates who have built, deployed, and documented complex networks and systems.
• We seek familiarity with hypervisors, virtualization technologies, and virtual desktop infrastructure.
• We need experience creating and maintaining secure, hardened configuration standards.
• We look for hands-on experience with the SaltStack automation framework.
• We require knowledge of network protocols, routing protocols, policy-based routing, security, and infrastructure maintenance.
• We require the ability to hold and maintain a security clearance, and U.S. citizenship is required.
• We consider a relevant college degree and/or equivalent practical experience, depending on the role and background.

• We stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends so we can make informed recommendations on technology updates.
• We ensure our networks meet or exceed required standards.
• We mentor junior team members and support their development.
• We work closely with customers to help address their future technology needs.
