RN - CVOR

WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) for a travel assignment in a high-acuity Level I Trauma Center. The CVOR RN will be responsible for both circulating and scrubbing cardiac surgical cases independently in a fast-paced cardiovascular surgical environment. This role requires strong cardiac surgery experience, technical proficiency in advanced CVOR procedures, and the ability to function independently in both scrub and circulating roles.

Job Function :

• Shift: 40 hrs/ 4x10 Days 7am-7:30pm
• Document all patient care accurately, completely, and promptly in the facility EMR
• Prepare the operating room for procedures and assist with room turnover
• Assist with patient positioning and ensure comfort and safety throughout the procedure
• Handle and label specimens according to policy
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection-control standards
• Identify and initiate corrective actions when necessary
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to ensure efficient workflow

• Minimum 2 years CVOR RN experience
• Must be able to independently:
  • Scrub cardiac surgery cases
  • Circulate cardiac surgery cases
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must have active license prior to start date
• BLS (required)
• ACLS (required)
