Futures has an immediate need for compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurses with experience in addictions (including detox), and eating disorders. Duties and Competencies: Work cooperatively with residents, families and stakeholders assistance with their healthcare needs. Assess and determine the individual needs of residents upon admission and during monitoring. Communicate the medical needs of residents to the Director of Nursing Administer prescribed medication. Provide assistance to Director of Utilization Review in communicating pertinent nursing information. Oversee resident medical records and ensure that all nursing documentation is accurate and truly reflects the resident’s medical condition. Assist the Director of Operations in maintaining the overall Health and Safety of residents, staff and employees of Futures. Actively participate in all Risk Management and Performance Improvement activities and meetings. Assist with communicating Critical Incident Reports to the Director of Operations. Ensure that delivery of nursing services meets and complies with Florida State licensing requirements and CARF standards. Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Detox experience strongly preferred, but will consider substance abuse and/or eating disorder experience. A minimum of three years of experience in a hospital or treatment center setting. Must be team‑oriented and have strong nursing as well as administrative skills.
