Financial Analyst

This individual will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Revenue Cycle, Operations, and senior leadership to analyze performance and deliver actionable financial insights.

Job Details

Responsibilities

• Prepare management reporting, operational analysis, and monthly KPI reporting.
• Support annual budgeting, strategic planning, and reforecasting processes.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages, including budget-to-actual and variance analysis.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, and financial trends across practices, providers, and service lines.
• Partner with operational leaders to identify performance issues and opportunities.
• Support Accounting during month-end close and investigate financial variances.
• Develop financial models, forecasts, and business cases for strategic investments.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support special projects for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related experience.
• Strong financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and variance-analysis experience.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas, and financial modeling.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication skills with experience partnering across business functions.

Preferred Experience

• Healthcare, physician practice management, ambulatory surgery center, or multi-site service experience.
• Knowledge of revenue cycle, reimbursement, payer mix, or provider productivity.
• Experience with ERP and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Sage, Oracle BI, or OneStream.
• MBA, CPA, or other relevant certification.
