Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehab

Location Atlantis, FL

Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with one weekend/month and weekdays off to balance out.

Job Description The Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing inpatient care to patients in an acute care, skilled nursing facility (SNF), and inpatient rehabilitation setting. The role involves working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to create and implement effective treatment plans for orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurological, and general med/surg populations.

Responsibilities Assess and evaluate patients to develop individualized treatment plans. Implement therapy interventions and adjust treatments based on patient progress. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for comprehensive patient care. Utilize therapeutic modalities and equipment in patient treatment. Document patient progress in electronic medical records (EMR) system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current BLS certification. Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in hospital acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, or SNF. Ability to work varied day shift hours. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
