This position is benefit eligible.POSITION SUMMARY:Responsible for answering telephone calls and transferring to appropriate destinations.Responsible for greeting patientsResponsible for collecting required documentation, copays, deductibles or payment of services prior to treatment and documenting transactions in EMR.Responsible for daily insurance verifications.Responsible for monitoring entrances and exits of visitors, patients and families.Handle various clerical functions as assigned by Manager and/or Director.Thorough knowledge of facility policies and procedures as it relates to the above duties.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma or GEDTwo years of experience in clerical/healthcare environment preferredComputer literate in Excel, MS Word, and OutlookAbility to communicate effectively with team members and patient's familiesAbility to function independently or under supervision as task requiresOrganizational and time management skillsStrong customer service skillsAbout Us:Weisman Children's is a highly-acclaimed, community-based pediatric organization consisting of an acute care rehabilitation hospital, outpatient rehabilitation centers, and medical day care centers.
