Oncology - Medical Oncology Physician

Hybrid Hem/Onc Locums Job Kentucky and Indiana

A well established outpatient oncology program is seeking a Hematology Oncology physician for locum tenens coverage due to a current vacancy. Flexible scheduling options are available, including full time or part time coverage. This is a strong opportunity for a provider seeking flexibility, a steady volume, and the option to incorporate telehealth into their schedule while supporting a collaborative oncology team.

Assignment Details:
Start: August 2026
Ongoing through end of year
Full time preferred, with a need for approximately 20 shifts per month
Providers available at least 2 weeks per month will be considered
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM
No call required
Hybrid model available with a mix of onsite and telehealth
Temporary privileges available for expedited onboarding

Practice Setting:
Outpatient oncology clinic within a larger health system
Approximately 15 to 18 patients per day
Focus on benign hematology with some medical oncology exposure
No supervision responsibilities
Adult patient population

Requirements:
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology
ABIM certifications (Hematology and Medical Oncology)
Active licenses in both Kentucky and Indiana required
BLS certification
Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
