Travel Occupational Therapist - Outpatient

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an outpatient position at a Critical Access Hospital in Illinois, with day shifts and a minimum of 1 year of experience required.

Job Details

• Outpatient OT setting within a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital,
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM),
• Charting is performed in Cerner,
• Floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital is required of all travelers,
• No on-call requirement,
• Local candidates are accepted with no radius restriction,

Job Requirements

• Active OT license for the state of Illinois required (active or pending at time of application); license required if applicable,
• Minimum 1 year of OT experience required,
• Current BLS certification required; AHA or Red Cross accepted (RQI AHA cards not accepted),
• SSN and DOB required for consideration,

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,
• Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays,
• RTO of more than 5 non-holiday days requires facility approval,
• Former permanent or PRN employees of the Memorial Hospital System must have been away for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler,
• Travel pairs are not accepted,
• No specific scrub color required; business casual or professional athletic attire is acceptable,
• Free parking is available with a permit obtained during orientation,
