Activities Assistant

Full-time Activities Assistant at Vista Prairie at Ridgeway in New Ulm. $16.26 to $19.93 an hour based on experience. Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. No nights, no weekends. Ridgeway on 23rd is an assisted living and memory care community in New Ulm. As an Activities Assistant, you'll plan and lead the programs that make up residents' days: games, music, crafts, exercise, and outings. This is a hands-on role where you get to know residents personally and help them stay engaged and connected. What You'll Do Plan and lead activities and social programs for residents in assisted living and memory care Help residents use their physical and mental abilities through games, crafts, music, and exercise Build real relationships with residents by learning their interests and history Support residents' emotional well-being through daily interaction and encouragement Keep the community's atmosphere upbeat and welcoming Drive the community bus for resident outings and appointments when applicable What You'll Need Required: Able to read, write, and follow instructions Able to do hands-on physical tasks, including leading exercise activities Preferred: High school diploma or GED Experienceworking with elderly/dementia residents Pay and Benefits $16.26 to $19.93 per hour, based on experience Paid time off and holiday pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Flexible spending account Life insurance Short-term and long-term disability 401(k) Employee referral program Tuition and education assistance Schedule Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
