Description

• Conduct assessments in both inpatient and outpatient settings to craft tailored treatment plans for each patient
• Implement physical therapy treatments aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including nurses, physicians, and case managers, to promote optimal recovery outcomes
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge plans, and at-home exercises

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent recognized qualification

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., in neurology or geriatrics) are advantageous but not mandatory
