IT Systems Engineer Client Platforms Support - Memphis

Salary: $73,000 - 113,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• We strongly prefer experience in incident management, troubleshooting, and structured problem solving.
• We need excellent communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively with associates, clients, and cross-functional partners.
• We expect you to operate independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and stay effective in a fast-paced environment.
• We require proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• We need experience with ServiceNow and Salesforce, or comparable incident management platforms.
• We look for a strong, positive attitude, high energy, and a genuine drive to solve complex issues.
• We require the ability to analyze, document, and clearly communicate findings, including root-cause analysis for larger incidents.
• We need working knowledge of UNIX and Windows system administration fundamentals.
• We prefer familiarity with cloud platforms, containers, or other data-driven application environments.
• We require experience troubleshooting web-based and mobile client applications.
• We need the ability to interact professionally with customers, including working alongside call center teams when needed.
• We prefer hands-on experience with Splunk, API tools, SOAP XML tools, SQL queries, modern programming languages, cloud-native design patterns, SSO, DevOps practices, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Lucidchart, Jira, and financial services or payment network environments.

• We pursue assigned incidents and tickets through to resolution across multiple backend systems and applications, especially those affecting our clients.
• We partner with associates, internal clients, and Client Platforms product owners to identify defects, resolve issues, and strengthen stability.
• We work closely with our call center support teams to spot recurring client issues and improve responsiveness within SLA expectations.
• We collaborate with our Client Platforms development teams to understand upcoming Agile sprint work and assess possible customer impact.
• We help lead cross-functional bridge calls during major incidents for Client Platforms.
• We provide guidance, encouragement, and technical direction to other members of the Client Platforms Support team.
• We perform root-cause analysis on production incidents and help identify improvements that reduce future recurrence.
• We enhance monitoring coverage for critical systems when incidents reveal gaps in our alerting.
• We stay current on emerging technologies, including AI, and apply new tools to improve efficiency and reduce mean time to resolution.
• We document defects, findings, and system observations for our development teams to address.
• We maintain accurate, up-to-date system documentation for Client Platforms Support.
• We complete additional duties and training as needed to support the team and deliver strategic value to our clients and associates.
