Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Home Health position in Ponca City, OK, requiring OASIS and HCHB EMR experience with a minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience.

Details

• Home health setting serving a geriatric patient population
• Average caseload of 5–7 patients per day
• Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday with the possibility of weekend visits (5x8-hour shifts, 8:00–17:00)
• On-call responsibilities are required; details to be discussed during the interview
• Travel territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the home hub/office
• Charting performed using HCHB EMR; experience is required
• An iPad is provided for use in the field

Requirements

• Active RN license (standard or compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent home health nursing experience required
• OASIS experience required
• HCHB EMR experience required
• Must be flexible with assigned territory coverage

Additional Information

• Provides skilled nursing visits to geriatric home health patients across an assigned territory
• Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• Scrubs required in any color; jeans are not permitted
• Local candidates are accepted and eligible for the travel rate
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
