Details 294-bed Joint Commission accredited hospital offering cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, and surgical services 26-bed Emergency Department treating all patient populations Patient ratios of 1:4-5, flexible depending on acuity Uses GE monitors and standard ED equipment Meditech EHR experience preferred Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 36 hours per week guaranteed Every other weekend required No call requirements Floating required to like assignments Requirements Active RN license (NC or Compact) required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS (AHA certifications required) Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required Associate's Degree in Nursing required Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration Additional Information Provide emergency care for a wide range of diagnoses including respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis patients, and hypertension Team-oriented role requiring an engaged, positive attitude Scrubs of any color are acceptable Located in Wilson, NC, 45 miles east of Raleigh and about an hour from Duke, NC State, UNC Chapel Hill, and East Carolina University Close to Lake Wilson and the historic Fleming Stadium Candidates must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate Local candidates may be considered at a reduced local rate Cannot have worked as a permanent staff member at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment American Traveler Job ID P-740629.
