Schedule: Daytime OR and endoscopy coverage with scheduled night call and 24-hour call shifts. Standard day shifts run 6:45am-3:00pm; night call is 3:00pm-6:45am. Contract runs through December 31, 2026, with specific coverage dates throughout September, October, November, and December. Post-call days off are built into the schedule as required.

Highlights:

• Support a busy department performing approximately 3,000 OR cases and 3,000 endoscopy cases annually, plus 500 OB deliveries per year
• Comprehensive case mix including geriatric fractures, urology, general surgery, advanced breast cancer surgery, total joint procedures, and endoscopy procedures under propofol infusion
• Consistent CRNA and nursing support on all shifts; you will always have CRNA backup
• 87-bed community hospital utilizing Cerner EMR system
• Average patient volume of 4-8 per day across all age groups
• Four-hour remote orientation provided the week prior to start date

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Active Arizona medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification required for presentation
• Current DEA registration required
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Current OB anesthesia experience is required
• Minimum one year of anesthesiology experience
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered on a case-by-case basis)
• Recent case logs demonstrating consistent clinical activity within the last 12 months
