Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides urgent patient care in a fast-paced emergency room environment, ensuring rapid assessment and treatment. Collaborates effectively with medical staff and communicates critical patient information accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Triages patients efficiently to determine priority and acuity.
• Delivers high-quality nursing care for diverse emergency cases.
• Communicates patient status and treatment updates to physicians and team members.
• Documents clinical findings and interventions accurately in Electronic Medical Records.
• Cross-trains in other nursing departments to support hospital needs.
• Adheres to safety protocols and maintains a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Holds an active California RN license and current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
• Brings 2+ years of recent ER nursing experience preferred.
• Demonstrates proficiency with Electronic Medical Records systems such as T-System and CPSI.
• Passes nursing medication exam and communicates effectively in English.
• Exhibits strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with patients and staff.
• Maintains basic computer literacy and flexibility to float to Med Surg as needed.
