\n \nWe are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead the successful opening and ongoing operations of a dual-branded Fairfield Inn & TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Waveland, Mississippi.
\nThis is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of a new hotel from pre-opening through stabilization—building your team, shaping the culture, and delivering outstanding guest experiences from day one.
\n \nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Lead all aspects of hotel operations, including Rooms, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Sales \n
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing opening team \n
- Drive revenue, profitability, and guest satisfaction \n
- Ensure brand standards and operational excellence across both Marriott flags \n
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance \n
- Build strong relationships within the local community and market \n
- Deliver exceptional guest service and maintain top-tier online reputation scores \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- Previous General Manager experience in a Marriott or comparable branded hotel required \n
- Dual-brand experience strongly preferred \n
- Proven success in hotel openings, turnarounds, or high-performance operations \n
- Strong financial acumen and revenue management understanding \n
- Leadership style that builds accountability, engagement, and team culture \n
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills \n
